Not as useful as I had hoped or as compact
By Suzanne A. Coffman
While it was very easy to assemble (my 11-yr old did it) I was disappointed that the folded-up Camp Kitchen is not as compact as I had hoped--because of the sink. The sink did come in handy while camping, though. Great place to wash dishes. The other big disappointment was the paper towel holder. The reason I chose this product was because it had a paper towel holder--but the suction cups that hold it on simply do not do the job. I think the record for the amount of time they held was maybe 3-4 hours.

Very shoddy workmanship from China
By nathan
When I received my Camp Kitchen from Amazon, I went ahead and assembled it in the living room because we aren't going camping until June and I wanted to make sure that it was all there and in good condition. I'm glad I did. The side table was missing a piece and the table that is supposed to attach to the main frame was not able to be attached because of a manufacturing defect. The metal prongs that attach the side table to the main table legs were misshapen and could not reach.
Instead of contacting Amazon, I contacted Coleman, hoping they could send me a new side table assembly. Instead, after asking me to submit pictures of the damage/defect, they sent me an entire new unit.
I just can't say enough about Coleman's customer service. They were very pleasant to deal with and sending me an entire new unit when all I was asking for was a new part? Well, that rarely happens.
The second unit arrived within a few days and taking no chances, I went ahead and set it up. The new unit had the same problems! Bent, misshapen side table that could not attach, and a missing cap that holds the leg hinge on. Instead of trying for a third time to get it right when obviously, this is the norm for this product, we have decided to go ahead and fix it ourselves. My husband thinks he can bend the metal grid into shape so that it stays connected and I'm sure we can pick up a piece from the hardware store to repair the hinge. It won't look pretty, but it will work.
Looks like Coleman will put their name on anything with not much Quality Assurance. I have trusted the name in the past, but after having our tent shred last year, buying a Coleman screen tent that ripped the first time we set it up due to poor workmanship, and now this, I doubt I will be buying anything from Coleman in the future.
I'm not crazy about people leaving reviews before they've used a product, but in this case, I felt it was appropriate. I will update the review once we are able to use the product.
UPDATE
After taking the camp kitchen on a camping trip, I have to say that I love it. It was very handy and made cooking a breeze. The spice rack, the utensil hooks, the wash tub and the cleanable countertop made camp cooking fun. Having the stand for the camp stove and the shelf for the dishes was great. It makes all the difference not to have to use a picnic table to prepare food on. It was a bit heavy to move around but set up and take down was easy. I'm glad I purchased it and decided to just keep it and fix it ourselves instead of return it due to the poor manufacturing quality. I even got the towel holder to stay up.

Great for car camping.

As long as you don't expect to slaughter a cow on this thing you should be very happy with it. Folds up nice & compact and it's really fairly sturdy. You could use it to hold a 5 gallon water jug but over time I could see it bending under the weight. It's perfect for prep, cooking and cleanup. Very happy with mine.
