Nice!!
By J. Keller
I bought this recently for a camping trip in the desert where there are no facilities. Honestly, I'd never even heard of a "shower tent" before until I was searching around amazon.com looking for anything that could help make the trip more enjoyable since I would be tent camping for 5 days. I'm really glad I bought this and it was so nice to be able to take a "real" shower while hanging out in the boonies.
I did the trial set-up at home (highly recommend) and when I got to the camp site, I had this thing up in 15 minutes. I did have to use the guy lines to help stabilize it but I think that was because the ground wasn't completely level. I didn't use the rain cover at first, but in the end, decided to put it on because it seemed to add stability to the unit. Also, I didn't think I'd need to use the floor because I was on sandy desert ground...but I should have put that on because I was soon squishing in silty-slippery sandy desert mud in no time. Live and learn.
The included 5-gallon solar shower is great, but I found that filling it all the way up was a little much for the time of year and amount of sun available...my first shower was cold! But subsequent days, with less water in the bag, the temp was just fine. However, keep in mind that these types of shower bags are still gravity-fed, so you'll be bending over to get your head wet, body rinsed, etc. I think for the next trip I'll add a hot-water-on-demand-shower-pump to my car-camping gear.
Overall, great product, well made, sturdy and easy to assemble on my own sans help from hubbie. Keep in mind, though, this is a heavy piece of equipment and likely not something you want to hike-in with for any great distance. Great for car-camping, though.

Do you really need it?
By Michael K. Brady
We purchased the shower/shelter combo for out porta potty and for showering. It works for both. On the plus side the zipper works well, there is plenty of headroom, two towel racks, a floor cover and it comes with a place to put your toiletries. It was fairly easy to assemble but when we were disassembling it for the second time the top plastic bracket broke. It did not take much stress for it to snap. We still will be able to use it but it is disappointing that the plastic is not sturdier. The metal sections are okay but the connectors are fairly useless. Overall it works as a basic shelter but long term use may destroy it.

Awesome Shower
By D. Apgar
We took this shower on a camping weekend for nascar race in sept, and it worked just fine. I set it up ahead of time in the yard when we got it, so I would know how to put it together at the campsite. It takes a few minutes to construct, and is plenty big enough. It had no problem holding a 5 gallon water bag which was filled up all the way. I heard of other showers falling over, this one will not fall over with the water bag on it. We didn't even stake it down due to the ground being hard, and it still never blew over. The towel bar on the outside comes in very handy. The shower caddy works great to hold all the stuff you want. Probably would be better if it was a hard plastic one, but I understand why they make it mesh, so it can roll back up and go into the bag for camping.
I highly recommend this shower over any of the other flimsy ones out there which will leave you standing at the campsite in your birthday suit while rest of the camp ground checks you out. haha.
